Cheryl Knowlton
A charasmatic entertainer who juggles nine children and is passionate about eduacting herself and others.
Cheryl Knowlton began speaking at an early age, and has never stopped (just ask her husband!). As a child, she got into trouble early and often for talking too much and too loud. Eventually, she made the decision to speak for a living and has never looked back. They say that you have found your true calling in life when you discover that you love what you are doing so much you would do it for free. Cheryl truly loves to engage in never-ending learning, and then to share that knowledge with others to help them achieve success.
Born and raised in California, Cheryl began her real estate career in 1999 in the Bay Area, obtaining her Real Estate License in order to work as a Mortgage Lender for a reputable company in Utah County. Since that time, she has been involved in many aspects of real estate, including wholesale lending, where she began teaching Continuing Education for both real estate and mortgage professionals in 2003. As a mortgage lender, she earned her Certified Mortgage Lender (CML) Designation and became a licensed Principal Lending Manager before retiring from lending in 2008. She loves travelling to various Boards of REALTORS® and brokerage offices to teach her popular Continuing Education Courses and speaking on real estate issues.
Cheryl holds a Utah Real Estate license and is a REALTOR® member of the Utah County Association of REALTORS. As a REALTOR, Cheryl has earned her GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute), and PMN (Performance Management Network) Designations, as well as her e-PRO and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification. One of the greatest joys of her career was becoming a REBAC Instructor, which allows her to give other REALTORS the education they need to advance in their careers by obtaining Designations and Certifications approved by the National Association of REALTORS.
She is also a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA). Cheryl has been actively involved with Women's Council of REALTORS® since 1999, and is the 2010 Utah State President-Elect.
Cheryl and her husband Rick absolutely love living in Eagle Mountain, Utah, where they have lived for the last six years with three of their nine children. When she finds time, Cheryl loves to read, ski, hike, shop, travel, and entertain friends and family.
