Cheryl Young has been providing financial advisory and private wealth management services to a distinctive clientele since 1998. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Chartered Financial Consultant, she provides holistic financial planning services to her clients. Young has taught hundreds of seminars at many of the area’s leading tech companies, and classes on options at the New York Stock Exchange and for the Montreal Stock Exchange. She has distinction of achieving the Certified Portfolio Manager ™ designation. Young has her Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63 and 65 licenses in addition to California life, health and long term care insurance licenses. Since 2010 she has regularly attended the Barron’s Winner’s Circle Top Women Advisors and Top Teams summits. For more than 15 years, she has taught personal finance classes at several Fortune 50 companies. Young is passionate about nonprofits focusing on education, empowering women, at-risk youth and medical research to cure diseases. She is on the board of directors for Mitty High School and for Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY). Young attended New Mexico State University as a Presidential Scholar, graduating with honors with a degree in psychology and business administration. She did her post-graduate work in biochemistry and medicine at the University of New Mexico.
