Rapper & Record Producer Known for "Love Sosa" & "I Don't Like"

Chief Keef is an American rapper and record producer hailing from the South Side of Chicago. He started rapping at a young age and began to gain regional attention for his mixtapes in the early 2010s. Chief Keef's mixtape "Back from the Dead" marked his entry into the mainstream music scene, particularly with the single "I Don't Like," which swiftly became a local hit and marked his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Following the success of his mixtape, he signed with Interscope Records and released his debut studio album "Finally Rich" in 2012.

Chief Keef's success continued with his follow-up single, "Love Sosa," which received quintuple platinum certification by the RIAA. He has since released several independent studio albums, all of which have charted on the Billboard 200, including "Bang 3," "Bang 3, Pt. 2," "4Nem," and "Almighty So 2." His work extends beyond his solo projects, having featured on songs by prominent artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and Drake, both of which have charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, Chief Keef's contributions to the music scene extend to his role as a progenitor of the drill genre, leading to his reference as a "modern rap folk hero" by Stereogum.
