Chris Cannon's comedy career began by entertaining fellow troops while serving as a tank commander in the US Army.

Upon discharge from the Army, Chris headed to Austin, where he found himself driving a delivery truck by day and behind a mike on stage by night. He parked the truck for good in 1993 and dedicated himself full-time to a career as a professional comedian.

As a regular member of Austin's Laff Staff Improv troupe, Cannon continued to evolve as a performer by sharpening his audience interaction and expanding his overall stage presence.
