Olympic Snowboarder

Chris Corning is an Olympic Snowboarder.

Corning began competing on the U.S. Revolution Tour in 2014, and by early in the 2015 season, he hit his first podium. He became the US champion in slopestyle in March of 2015, and that same year he won his first World Cup victory in Cardrona.

Later in the 2015-2016 season, he won the US Revolution Tour in Winter Park and took second place in the World Cup at Bokwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang. At the end of the season, he came in second place in the freestyle World Cup and the first place in the slopestyle World Cup.

At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2016 on the Alpe di Siusi, he won the gold medal in slopestyle and big air, and again US champion in slopestyle.

In the season 2016-2017, he won the slopestyle in Špindlerův Mlýn and finished the season tenth place in the freestyle World Cup. At the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , he won the bronze medal in slopestyle and the silver medal in the Big Air. At the end of March 2017, he won the gold medal in slopestyle at the 2017 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Špindlerův Mlýn.

Corning was named to the 2018 U.S. Olympic Snowboarding team.
