Big Mountain Skier & Mountaineer

Chris Davenport is a two-time world champion and big mountain skier. He lectures on risk management relating to business and mountain sports. In 2007, he became the first person to climb and ski all 54 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks in less than 12 months. He has been featured in more than 30 ski films by Warren Miller and Matchstick Productions, and is a commentator for ESPN, ABC Sports, and Outside Television. He was recently named to the USA Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Davenport serves as a director of nonprofits Protect Our Winters, the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education, and the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club.

Davenport has authored two books: Ski the 14ers: A Visual Tribute to Colorado's 14,000-Foot Peaks from the Eyes of a Ski Mountaineer and 50 Classic Ski Descents of North America.
