Chris is a recognized thought leader in developing collaborative leadership capabilities so that individuals and organizations can thrive in an interdependent world. He has honed his research and practice through 14 years of service with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).

Chris has served in multi-year expatriate roles in Asia and Europe, leads cross-functional and multicultural teams, and designs and facilitates leadership interventions in diverse international and industry contexts. His industry experience crosses sectors such as financial, healthcare, military/government, education/nonprofit, retail and information technology, while his international experience crosses the regions of Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North and South America.

Out of these varied experiences, Chris holds the conviction that the most pressing challenges we face today in business and society span boundaries, yet appreciates first-hand that collaborating across our differences is hard work.

He is co-author of two books, "Boundary Spanning Leadership: Six Practices for Solving Problems, Driving Innovation, and Transforming Organizations" (McGraw-Hill Professional) and "Success for the New Global Manager: How to Work Across Distance, Countries and Cultures" (Jossey-Bass/Wiley).
