Chris McChesney is currently the Global Practice Leader of Execution for FranklinCovey. He is the featured presenter of FranklinCovey’s 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX), one of Amazon’s top 10 best selling business audios. McChesney is a Wall Street Journal #1 National Best-Selling author for his book The Four Disciples of Execution. McChesney has been the primary developer of 4DX methodology for more than a decade. He has participated in numerous client-requested case-study videos, is featured in FranklinCovey’s 4DX overview videos, and is one of FranklinCovey’s most in-demand speakers worldwide.

In his role developing FranklinCovey’s Execution Methodology throughout the last decade, McChesney has led change efforts that have become many of FranklinCovey’s most noted case studies. This includes working directly with Georgia Governor Sonny Purdue and the president of Marriott for the Americas. He has also worked with Shaw Industries, Kroger Supermarkets, Coca-Cola, Comcast, Home Depot, Frito-Lay, Lockheed Martin, Gaylord Entertainment and Northrop Grumman.

McChesney has driven change efforts that have resulted in: a 50% increase in guest satisfaction within 9 months (One of the largest convention hotel chains in the U.S.), a 60% reduction in reoccurrence of child maltreatment (Statewide Health & Human Services Agency) and a 50% reduction in Six Sigma project completion time (global manufacturer).

He has been with FranklinCovey for more than 20 years. He began working for Stephen R. Covey in 1991 as his publicist. Since then, McChesney has become a Consultant, Managing Director and General Manager within the organization. He has spent his professional years dedicated to helping organizations achieve results through improved implementation of strategy.

McChesney has been married for over 20 years and is the father of seven children. He is a big fan of boating, water sports, coaching flag football, and trying to keep up with his kids.
