Chris Rowland is an energy economist and industry executive with expertise throughout the oil, gas, and renewables value chains, currently serving as the Director of Housing and Business Forecasting at Zillow and previously as the Director of Economics and Market Analytics at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. He has over a decade of experience researching and working in the oil and gas industry, with a deep specialization in data-driven strategies and analytics. In the past, he focused on transportation fuel demand and the trends, policies, and technologies with which the transportation industry continuously evolves.

Throughout his career, Rowland has proven his leadership skills, transforming teams to achieve high-impact results. He frequently engages with top corporate executives, including CEOs and CFOs, to advise on strategic initiatives, underlining his ability to operate at the highest levels of corporate decision-making. He has also generated several peer-reviewed publications and technical studies related to fuel policy and transportation technology.
