Two-time Golden Globe nominated actress Chrissy Metz stars on the critically acclaimed hit NBC series “This Is Us,” a popular comedy-drama. Metz plays Kate, a woman struggling with her weight, eating habits, and body image. ET named her as one of six "breakout stars you will fall in love with."

Metz is the winner of the 2018 and 2019 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama. “This Is Us” received nominations from The Critics Choice Awards, AFI, NAACP, and won the People's Choice Award for "Favorite New TV Drama." Metz is also known for her roles in “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” “Loveless in Los Angeles,” “Solving Charlie,” “My Name is Earl,” and “Entourage.”

In 2019, Metz starred in “Breakthrough,” a Christian drama telling the true story of a teenage boy who fell through a frozen lake and was initially unable to be resuscitated, yet was later able to make a miraculous recovery. She also performs “I’m Standing With You” on the Breakthrough soundtrack, written by 10-time Academy Award nominee Diane Warren. Chrissy performed this song at the 2019 ACM Awards.

Metz’s memoir, This Is Me, debuted at #1 on the NY Times Bestseller List. People magazine named her to the “Ones to Watch” and “50 Most Beautiful.”
