Christian Siriano attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and further studied fashion in London, where he interned with industry legends Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Since launching his collection in 2008, which is shown each season at New York Fashion Week and presented in New York and Paris to retailers, Siriano has continued to expand his influence and offerings in the fashion world. His designs, known for their whimsy and elegance, range from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses to tailored sportswear, as well as intricate shoes and accessories. The designs can be found at department stores and specialty boutiques globally. In 2012, he opened his first flagship store on Elizabeth Street in New York City, and in 2013, he was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Siriano also launched "The Curated NYC," further solidifying his presence in the fashion industry.

Siriano's designs have been worn by a broad spectrum of public figures including Dr. Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, and Oprah Winfrey, who has described his works as "works of art."
