Christian Siriano attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and further studied fashion in London, where he interned with industry legends Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. The Christian Siriano collection debuted in 2008, and is now shown each season at New York Fashion Week and presented in New York and Paris to retailers. Known for whimsical and show-stopping design -- from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses, to tailored sportswear, to intricate shoes and accessories -- the collection can be found at department stores and specialty boutiques around the globe. In 2012, the first stand-alone flagship Christian Siriano store opened on Elizabeth Street in New York City, and in 2013 he was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

Oprah Winfrey calls his designs "works of art" and Tim Gunn calls him "a prodigy" and "the next great American fashion designer." His designs have appeared in fashion magazines around the world and on leading ladies in every field of entertainment, from stars of film (Sarah Jessica Parker, Elizabeth Olsen, Emily Blunt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Rosario Dawson, Christina Ricci) to icons of music (Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Fergie, Nicki Minaj, Pink, Carrie Underwood) to stars of television (Christina Hendricks, Heidi Klum, Allison Williams, Kristin Davis) and darlings of fashion (Victoria Beckham, Leigh Lezark, Alexa Chung), to name a few.

Christian Siriano also designs four seasonal collections of shoes and bags for Payless ShoeSource (an ongoing guest designer collaboration since 2009) as well as a bridal collection for Nordstrom. Other design partnerships have included a makeup line for Victoria's Secret, and clothing and accessories for HSN, Puma, LG, Starbucks, Spiegel, and Regatta/Li & Fung. He is the youngest person to ever appear on the Crain's 40 Under 40 list, and he co-founded accessories e-commerce retailer "Send the Trend" and served as Chief Curator until its acquisition by QVC in 2012. The first Christian Siriano fragrance launched in early 2014.
