Christina Ray Stanton is a Tallahassee, Florida native who has lived in New York City for the past 27 years. Christina is a professional, licensed NYC tour guide, who has led thousands of people on tours over the years. She's worked for more than 20 years total as a guide, and her tours have been written up in multiple publications and featured on travel channels. She is also the Director of the Short Term Missions Ministry at Redeemer Presbyterian Church (Founder, Timothy Keller). She revamped the ministry ten years ago, increasing its scope from two trips of 30 people each year to 14 trips per year with more than 200 people participating.  In 2017 she founded a nonprofit called Loving All Nations, which helps the world's poor and vulnerable. She is also an active member of Samaritan's Purse DART program. She and her husband, Brian (who is Redeemer's Chief Financial Officer of 17 years), have been married for 20 years and are longtime residents of the Financial District.

Out of the Shadow of 9/11

Christina, a 9-11 historian, tells a first-hand account of her escape from and survival of the 9-11 attacks on New York City, which can be tailored to both secular and religious audiences. In both, she discusses her personal story and weaves in little known facts and lesser-known details of that day to both educate and inform. She can tailor it to different demographics and uses a powerpoint presentation and physical artifacts to assist her narrative.
