Christina Rivera is executive director of the Honor Foundation, which helps bridge military and private-sector careers for members of the Special Operations Forces community. She is responsible for optimizing the Honor Institute experience while advancing the career goals of Honor Foundation fellows. She also oversees daily operations, THF curriculum and programs, communications and development. Previously, Rivera worked as director of programs for the Pat Tillman Foundation, program manager for military employment at Sears Holdings Corp. and at Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. An Army veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, she has held roles in logistics, psychological operations and recruiting and retention. She has been featured in the media for her expertise and is a member of the CivilianJobs.com Top 40 Under 40 Military Class of 2012. Rivera holds a B.A. in English from Northern Illinois University and an M.S. in corporate and organizational communications from Northeastern University in Boston.
