Christina Stembel is the Founder, CEO, and “Gruntswoman” of Farmgirl Flowers — a socially conscious eCommerce flower company in San Francisco. In 2010 the company was founded in Christina’s living room. Now her company is rapidly growing at a staggering 200–400% each year. Farmgirl Flowers is one of the fastest growing private companies in San Francisco, and is expected to be worth 170 million by 2020.

Christina grew up on a farm in Northern Indiana, and after moving around a bit, decided to make the Bay Area her home. She had the privilege of working in many industries, mostly in hospitality and event planning where she became interested in floral design. She started designing her own arrangements and realized tremendous savings along the way along learning how source and arrange sustainably which is how Farmgirl Flowers was born.
