Founding Director of BridgeUp: STEM

Christina Wallace has crafted a career at the intersection of business, the arts, and technology. She is currently the Vice President of Growth at Bionic, a growth advisory firm that partners with large enterprises to discover and build new businesses. She is also the co-host of The Limit Does Not Exist, a podcast focused on the intersection of STEM and the arts, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business School. A creative non-fiction and business writer, Christina mostly recently co-authored New To Big: How Companies Can Create Like Entrepreneurs, Invest Like VCs, and Install a Permanent Operating System for Growth (April 2019, Currency).

Prior to joining Bionic, Christina founded BridgeUp: STEM, an edtech startup inside the American Museum of Natural History with a mission to captivate, inspire, and propel girls and women into computer science, funded by a generous $7.5M 5-year grant from the Helen Gurley Brown Trust. Previously Christina was the founding director of Startup Institute New York, the co-founder and CEO of venture-backed fashion company Quincy Apparel, a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and an arts manager at the Metropolitan Opera. She holds undergraduate degrees in mathematics and theater from Emory University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

She regularly speaks, writes, and consults on a wide range of topics, ranging from failure and resilience to corporate innovation, from K12 computer science education to her viral TED talk detailing her unique approach to hacking online dating. Mashable called her one of “44 Female Founders to Know” and Refinery29 named her one of the "Most Powerful Women in NYC Tech." She has been profiled in Elle, Marie Claire, the Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company, among others.

In her free time, Christina sings with Ensemble Companio, embarks on solo adventure travel, and is an amateur athlete with 20 half marathons, 3 triathlons, and 2 marathons under her belt. She currently resides in Brooklyn.
