Christine Hassler

Author, Life Coach, Speaker, Consultant, Spokesperson

Christine Hassler is a best-selling author, keynote speaker, master coach, podcast and TV host who is committed to guiding people and organizations into their highest potential. She left her successful job as a Hollywood agent at 25 to pursue a life she could be passionate about...but it did not come easily.

In 2005, she wrote her first book 20 Something 20 Everything. Her best-selling book Expectation Hangover: Free Yourself from Your Past, Change Your Present and Get What You Really Want is the guidebook for how to treat disappointment on the emotional, mental, behavioral and spiritual levels. Christine is a master coach who combines life coaching with the principles of spiritual psychology. She is passionate about supporting people out of suffering and limitation and into fulfillment.

Christine’s passion for coaching was born at the age of 23 when she met her first life coach, Mona. The work they did together was life-changing. Most notably, Christine was able to get through her massive quarter-life crisis when she lost everything (job, engagement, money, and health) and off anti-depressants and other medications after being on them for 20 years.

Her thirst for personal development continued as she dived into self-help books, attended seminars and retreats, got trained in NLP and eventually pursued her master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health and Healing.

Today, Christine leads seminars and workshops to audiences around the country. She has spoken to over 100,000 people at colleges, personal growth events, conferences, and corporations. Additionally, she hosts a top-rated podcast on the Podcast One Network “Over it and On with it” where she coaches callers live on the air.

Christine has appeared as an expert on The Today Show, CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, E!, Style and PBS, as well as various local television and radio shows, speaking about generation diversity, millennials, resilience, leadership, life balance and “Expectation Hangovers®” – a phenomenon she identified and trademarked. She is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and Cosmo.

Expectation Hangovers

A common challenge facing today’s college students is expectations. Whether from parents, professors, peers, or themselves; the expectations that students feel can be overwhelming. Christine Hassler’s program is both interactive and reassuring. She facilitates a discussion about why decisions are hard to make and shares her “Cheesecake Factory” theory. In a gentle and often humorous way, she advises students about things to expect after graduation – like culture shock, an adjustment to the independent life, heart-break, competition and unavoidable forks in the road. Her message to students is that it’s 100% okay (and quite normal!) to NOT know what you want to do with your life. From Christine’s program, students feel relieved of the pressure that fuels expectation hangovers. Armed with real world tips and tools, they feel more prepared for life post-graduation.

The Myth of “Having it All”

Today’s college woman has a lot on her mind: relationships, family, academics, job searching, finances, her body and questions about what her future will entail. She is told she can “have it all” – but, what does that really mean and furthermore – is it possible? In Christine Hassler’s program, the questions women struggle with become opportunities to identify and explore dreams and values. Rather than feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, her message to young women is to not worry about “having it all” by anyone else’s standards or checklist, but rather focus on creating a life you want. Topics addressed in the program include: the role of women today, body image and nutrition, sex, relationships and careers.

The Secret to Happy Relationships

Tools gained from Christine’s keynote include healthy boundary setting, how to give and receive feedback, how to appropriately ask for what you want, how to not take things personally and evaluation techniques to determine the quality of any relationship. She teaches self-awareness tools that have worked in her own life and with hundreds of people she has coached. Ultimately, students will be left with an action plan for entering and existing in healthy relationships with increased confidence.

Personal Development: Reinventing Your Life!

Regardless of age or circumstance, it is never too late to make a change. While the routine of your daily rituals at work or home may feel comfortable, you don’t want to allow yourself to be stagnant or get caught in a rut.

Many women stay in a job, relationship or circumstance that is comfortable because it is familiar, NOT because it is healthy. After reinventing herself upon leaving a successful career she was miserable in and finding more happiness than she thought possible after a divorce, Christine is living proof that one can “start over” in various aspects of her life.

This engaging, intimate, and deeply honest program invites women to truly examine where they are holding themselves back in their own life. Christine provides heart-felt advice to motivate women to move through their fear so they can get to what they truly want. She brings her experiences as a counselor, life coach, facilitator and someone who has “been there, done that” and offers tools that will empower women to begin reinventing themselves. Women will walk away with tools for reevaluation and inspiration to make a positive change.
