Bestselling Author, Professional Speaker & Breast Cancer Survivor; Former Marketing Executive

Christine Clifford is a bestselling author, humorist, award-winning professional speaker, businesswoman, and breast cancer survivor.

By age 40, Clifford was Senior Executive Vice President for The SPAR Group, an international marketing firm in New York. Clifford’s accounts included Kmart, Toys ‘R’ Us, Wal-Mart, AT&T, Mattel Toys, and Revlon. Taking her company from a million dollar per year loss to over $54 million in sales, Clifford signed the largest contract in the history of her industry with Procter & Gamble, doubling the size of her company overnight.

However, after being diagnosed with breast cancer, she started writing and drawing and ultimately left her job as a marketing executive. Clifford went on to write numerous award-winning, humorous portrayals of her story in books including "Not Now…I’m Having A No Hair Day!," "Our Family Has Cancer, Too!," and "Cancer Has Its Privileges: Stories of Hope & Laughter."

Clifford is the CEO and owner of Christine Clifford Enterprises, an umbrella under which she operates four companies. She faced a life-changing experience and began her own company, The Cancer Club, the world’s largest producer of humorous and helpful products for people with cancer. Additionally, Clifford launched Divorcing Divas, which produces seminars for the newly divorced, with her friend Barbara Greenburg in 2010.

Clifford is a member of the Minnesota Speakers Association, the National Speakers Association, the American Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor, and the National Association of Breast Cancer Organizations. She is listed in International Who’s Who of Professionals, International Who’s Who of Entrepreneurs, and International Who’s Who of Authors and Writers. She is also listed in Contemporary Authors and 2,000 Notable American Women. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Angel Foundation. In July of 2002, Clifford was awarded The Order of the Delta Gamma Rose from the Delta Gamma fraternity.
