Christine McConnell is a baker, cookbook author, photographer and media personality known for creating disturbing dessert art that incorporates macabre, gothic, and humorous elements.

The self-taught dessert artist began her career by posting her creations to social media, and went on to publish Deceptive Desserts: A Lady's Guide to Baking Bad in 2016. In 2018, she conceptualized, wrote, and starred in a six-part Netflix Halloween special, The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell, a collaboration with Henson Alternative, a division of the Jim Henson Company.

Her life long fascination with aesthetics inspired her to cultivate many talents which ultimately led her to photography. She personally styles all models for her shoots as well as creates many of the clothes seen throughout this site. Her photo's have been displayed in magazines, billboards and national advertising campaigns.

Christine moonlights as a stylist at the renowned Cal Martini Color Group in Beverly Hills. She's worked on celebrities for events and film and is able to replicate hair and makeup styles from any era.
