Adjunct Professor

Christopher Michaelson has taught in NYU Stern's Business and Society Program since 2005 as an Adjunct Professor of Business Ethics. Professor Michaelson is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Ethics and Business Law at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, and taught at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania before coming to NYU. For several years, he has combined academic positions with business practice as a strategy and risk advisor with PwC, where he began his professional career in New York City. Christopher's clients have included major multinational corporations, along with government and non-governmental organizations and multilateral financial institutions. His academic research uses art, architecture, literature, and film to explore meaningful work, global ethics, and emerging risks. His Ph.D., in philosophy, is from the University of Minnesota.
