Actor & Comedian; Best Known for Playing McLovin' in "Superbad"

Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his roles as Fogell (better known as "McLovin") in Superbad, Augie Farcques in Role Models, and as Chris D'Amico in Kick-Ass and its sequel Kick-Ass 2.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 20, 1989. He attended El Camino Real High School from 2003 to 2007, and he was tutored on the set of his first movie, Superbad.

Mintz-Plasse began acting in drama classes in the first grade and continued through his senior year of high school. In Superbad, he was cast in the role of Fogell after auditioning with two of his high school friends. Without professional head shots, he presented a photo snapped on a camera phone beforehand.

In 2008, he appeared in his second movie role as LARP-loving Augie Farcques in the David Wain film Role Models, co-starring Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott. Mintz-Plasse has also appeared in other movies like Year One and had a voice-acting role in How To Train Your Dragon.

He portrayed Christ DAmico/Red Mist in 2010s Kick-Ass, for which he was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. In addition to working on other roles, he appears in Pitch Perfect and stars in The To Do List alongside Rachel Bilson, Aubrey Plaza, Andy Samberg and Donald Glover.
