Christopher Perkins is managing director and global head of OTC clearing for Citi. Perkins leads Citi's efforts to provide non-participant access to OTC derivative central clearing counterparties throughout the globe. He oversees a business that has successfully cleared trillions of dollars notional in client interest rates swaps, credit default swaps and non-deliverable forward foreign exchange swaps. His team was awarded the AsiaRisk Client Clearing Provider of the Year in 2012 and 2013, Client Clearing Service of the Year by Risk magazine in 2013 and 2015, and Best Provider of FX Clearing by FX Week in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, his team was also honored as Best Clearing Bank of the Year by Global Capital Derivatives. An Iraq war veteran, Perkins served in the Marine Corps for nine years, achieving the rank of captain. He has a B.S. degree from the Naval Academy, with distinction, and an M.A. from Georgetown University.
