Chuck Gulashis a senior executive engineer at Toyota Technical Center, the North American R&D division of Toyota Motor Corporation. He is currently director of Toyota’s Collaborative Safety Research Center, which partners with leading research organizations across North America to study and advance safer, more responsible ways of moving people. Gulash has held numerous leadership roles at Toyota since 1996, ranging from vehicle evaluation to advanced research. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and a recipient of that organization’s Arch T. Colwell Merit Award. He is a board member at SPARK, a public-private partnership to advance innovation-based economic development in the Ann Arbor region. (Festival Underwriter Presenter)
