Mr. Rubin, has served Chief Executive Officer since September 2010 and as President and Director since May 2010. Prior to joining Ulta, Mr. Rubin served as President of the North American Retail division of Office Depot Inc., from January 2006 to April 2010. Mr. Rubin first joined Office Depot as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Merchandising Officer in 2004. Before that time, Mr. Rubin spent six years at Accenture, including three years as a partner, where he worked with a range of retail clients across department store, specialty store and ecommerce venues. Prior to that, Mr. Rubin held a number of senior merchandising and general management positions in the specialty retail and department store industry including with Federated Department Stores. Mr. Rubin was a member of the executive committee of the board of directors of The National Retail Federation from January 2007 to April 2010.
