Mental Health Doctor & Author of "Eating Disorders Don't Discriminate"

Chukwuemeka Nwuba, MD, is a London-based psychiatric trainee and an eating disorder advocate. He is the Co-Founder of Club Majority, a community-led organization working for improved care for underrepresented patients with eating disorders. He regularly speaks on eating disorders in underrepresented groups at conferences across the world. He was voted on the list of Powerful Media's Top 10 Black Future Leaders 2017-18.

He is the Clinical Lead for Mind of the Student charity. He is Co-Founder of ed/md, the UK’s first eating disorders conference for medical students. He is a member of the Association of Black Psychiatrists. His prize-winning essay on eating disorders and race-related issues, "Leanne," was published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2021.

His work has been featured in The Lancet, Men's Health, and the BBC. In 2024, he published his first book, "Eating Disorders Don't Discriminate."
