Circa Survive is an American progressive rock band

Circa Survive is an American progressive rock band from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburb of Doylestown that formed in 2004. The band consists of former Saosin vocalist Anthony Green, and members of the now-defunct band This Day Forward.

Circa Survive's first release was the EP, “The Inuit Sessions,” in March 2005. Their debut album, “Juturna,” was released in April 2005 by Equal Vision Records and reached #183 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Their second album, “On Letting Go,” was released in May 2007 and debuted at #24 on the Billboard 200. Their third album, “Blue Sky Noise,” was released in April 2010 on Atlantic Records which debuted at #11 on the Billboard 200.

Circa Survive's second EP, “Appendage,” was released in November 2010. “Violent Waves,” their fourth studio album, was released in August 2012. It was their first self-issued album. As with Circa Survive's previous albums, Esao Andrews created the album artwork.
