Claudia Lucas is a senior retail merchandising executive with nearly 20 years experience in the UK and U.S. Specializing in luxury beauty, she is currently the Merchandise Director for Beauty at QVC Inc. where she manages a multimillion dollar portfolio of brands through direct TV and ecommerce platforms.

Originally from the UK, Ms. Lucas began her career as a fragrance buyer with a UK-based travel retail company. She joined the Selfridges team as Head Buyer for beauty in 1999, at a time when the famed department store was undergoing a radical transformation that ultimately solidified its positioning as one of the best department stores in the world and a leader in beauty.

Ms. Lucas moved to the U.S. in 1994 to become Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager, Beauty position at Henri Bendel in New York. In that role, she was instrumental in repositioning the beauty assortment to redirect a new direction in beauty retailing that set Henri Bendel apart from its competitors.
