Pastor, Founder & President of Clayton King Ministries

Clayton King is Teaching Pastor and Overseer at NewSpring Church in South Carolina. He's Founder and President of Crossroads Camps, Crossroads Conferences, Crossroads Missions and Clayton King Ministries. The author of 17 books with LifeWay, Baker and Harvest House, he and Sharie won the 2015 “Young Adult Book Of The Year” award from the Christian Retailers Association for “True Love Project."

Adopted as a baby, he was saved at age 14 and called to ministry in the 8th grade. He was 1995 Graduate of the Year at Gardner-Webb University and has preached the gospel for 35 years in 50 countries and 47 states. King is Distinguished Professor Of Evangelism at Anderson University and a graduate of the Billy Graham School of Emerging Evangelists. He holds three Honorary Doctorates.

King married Sharie in 1999, and they have two sons, Jacob and Joseph. He loves to be outside on a tractor or an ATV, drink copious amounts of black coffee, and is a connoisseur of fine music, including 90s rock, Vivaldi, Johnny Cash, 80s pop, and old-school Christian rock.
