Founder of The Influence Lab, Social Scientist, Best-Selling Author, Senior Executive Advisor & Emmy Award-Winning Broadcast Journalist for NBC and ABC

As an award-winning broadcast journalist for NBC and ABC stations, Connie Dieken spent the early stages of her professional career interviewing a virtual who’s who of power and influence. From sitting presidents to titan-of-industry CEOs, she observed that despite their differences, these global leaders shared several unique patterns, regardless of industry, gender, age, and other socio-cultural conditions.

Dieken became determined to quantify these influence patterns through science. Leaving behind an accomplished broadcasting career that resulted in five Emmy Awards, two Telly Awards, and induction into the Radio/TV Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame, she spent the following years establishing her expertise as a prominent social scientist working to accelerate these influence patterns with leaders around the globe. She founded The Dieken Group, a global research, consulting, and executive coaching firm, and developed Influence 360°, an assessment tool that measures and guides personal influence patterns.

As a research-based social scientist and the founder of The Influence Lab®, Dieken is not interested in the illusion of influence.
