Constance Freedman is managing director of Second Century Ventures, the investment arm of the National Association of Realtors, where she oversees investments. She is also the founder and managing director of Reach, its technology accelerator program.

“You think, ‘A corporation that’s been around for 100 years, how does it stay relevant?’” she told Blue Sky. “The only way is through innovation.”

Freedman has a background in venture capital, technology and real estate and was an investor with Cue Ball, a Boston-based venture firm. She spent seven years as an account manager at technology startups Molecular and Account4.com. Before that she was also a licensed real estate professional for three years.

She earned a BS from Boston University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
