Cristina Riesen is interested in using the power of creativity, technology and entrepreneurship to tackle complex societal challenges. She is an EMScom graduate and a certified Hasso Plattner d.School design thinking professional with more than 10 years of experience in communications, international business development and high impact entrepreneurship.

Prior to her role as General Manager for Europe Middle East and Africa at Evernote, she was radio editor and worked in public relations for iconic design and architecture brands. After managing the launch of the Swiss Edtech Collider at EPFL in 2017, she joined part-time the Strategic Development team at ETH Zurich until February 2019.

Named Digital Shaper and Transformer by Bilanz, Riesen is currently accelerating positive change in education with her own start-up, We Are Play Lab Foundation, founded in 2017. Next to developing the foundation's activities, she is actively supporting ambitious startups and organizations in a coaching and mentoring role, helping them to step into the future.
