Crystal Martin is an international speaker, software developer, and dedicated advocate for diversity in both the tech and business sectors. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Martin is a proud graduate of Detroit Public Schools, where she developed a passion for equal access to education at all levels.

Beginning her professional journey as a Teach For America Corps Member in St. Louis, Missouri, Martin spent four years teaching middle school mathematics in the St. Louis Public Schools system. Driven by a desire to merge her affinity for creativity, science, and community impact, Martin transitioned her career path towards technology—a realm she found to be an ideal intersection of her diverse interests. As a lifelong learner and serial hobbyist, she continuously expands her knowledge base, delving into fields such as photography, digital design, drawing, knitting, and various tech innovations.

Martin's professional endeavors are underpinned by a steadfast commitment to challenging systemic barriers and advocating for inclusivity and gender equality in the tech and business field. Through her work, she endeavors to dismantle inequitable structures and promote opportunities for individuals of all identities to thrive and succeed.
