Curtis S. Chin  

Senior Fellow and Executive-in-Residence, Asian Institute of Technology; former U.S. Ambassador to the Asian Development Bank

Curtis S. Chin served under President George W. Bush and President Obama as U.S. Ambassador to the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines, where as a member of the Board of Directors, he was a regular voice for strengthened governance, best practices in risk management, and development efforts focused on people, planet and partnership -- particularly in the region's poorest areas and least developed nations. He is a senior fellow and executive-in-residence at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand, and a managing director with advisory firm RiverPeak Group, LLC. Previously, Ambassador Chin was a senior executive with international public affairs firm Burson-Marsteller, where he led operations in Beijing and Hong Kong, as well as provided counsel to governments, business and international organizations in such areas as stakeholder engagement, corporate responsibility, crisis management and market entry while based elsewhere in the United States and Asia.
