Curtis Strange is a professional golfer and TV commentator. He is the winner of consecutive U.S. Open titles and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. He spent over 200 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking between their debut in 1986 and 1990. He now serves as an analyst and on-course reporter for FOX Sports’ USGA coverage.

Considered one of professional golf’s premier competitors throughout the 1980s, Strange nabbed 16 of his 17 career tournament victories during that decade. In 1988, Strange notched a career-high four tournament victories and PGA Tour Player of the Year honors.

In 1995, Strange made his first foray into broadcasting as an analyst for ABC. He served in that role until 2004 and then rejoined ESPN/ABC in 2008.

Strange made his debut with FOX Sports in 2016 at the Men’s Amateur Four-Ball at Winged Foot Golf Club, serving as an analyst and on-course reporter for much of the network’s USGA coverage and returned to the mic in 2017 and 2018 for the U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open and U.S. Amateur Championships on FOX. In 2019, he reprises his on-course and analyst roles with FOX Sports.
