He has over 30 years of experience working in public health, leading the U.S. Navy’s malaria vaccine program, as director of the Gates Foundation-supported Grand Challenges in Global Health, and as vice president of global health at the U.N. Foundation. He is the co-creator of the world’s most creatively awarded health campaign, the Immunity Charm.
