Dan Kulp is a Comedic Story Teller, Singer, writer, actor and the proud parent of three adopted children, two from China and one from Ukraine, who have special needs - including one with that wonderful extra chromosome! He is also brother to four siblings who have Down syndrome (three were adopted).

During the 1970s, PBS and Newsweek Magazine did a feature on the Kulp Family which aired internationally and The National Enquirer did a two page spread about them. Now, in a moving new chapter to the story, Dan and his wife have recently received a daughter from China who, like her brother, also has a chromosomal syndrome! Dan looks forward to moving your community through humorous and profound stories which will reveal lessons learned from his upbringing about loving those with special needs and the joy of adoption.

The presentation is a fun filled time of laughter and lessons as Kulp shares memories from his past and moments from the present as a new dad. Your group will identify with his stories about changing diapers for the first time, his Mom's way of dealing with the town bullies and how caring for a child with special needs is the most rewarding thing he has ever done!

Dan Kulp has had the privilege of performing for audiences all over the United States as both the lead singer of the rock group The Dig Project and as a comedian. His brand of humor has been shared in Clubs, Colleges, Churches, Camps, Conferences, High Schools, Festivals and Retreats. Drawing from his additional experiences as an actor, writer, youth pastor, radio talk show host, husband and parent - Dan is a gifted communicator and sought after speaker who would be honored to come for your group or event!
