Dana Klisanin is an award-winning research psychologist, futurist, and social impact designer. She is CEO at Evolutionary Guidance Media R&D, Inc. where she serves as a consultant to the media and communications sector, with a focus on social impact design. Specialities include strategic foresight, socially conscious media / branding, interactive narrative design, and experiential entertainment.

Dana's transdisciplinary research explores the future of media, and the evolution of heroism and heroic archetypes in the digital era. Her research has changed our understanding of altruism, kindness, social activism, and heroism. Dana has been interviewed by BBC, TIME, Fast Company, Huffington Post, USA Today, Newsie, Futurist Magazine, and the American Psychological Association. She is the author of book chapters and peer reviewed publications on topics ranging from the future of media to the fusion of information communication technologies and empathy, compassion, & altruism. Dana has professional and working relationships with Fortune 500 corporations, agencies, foundations, and nongovernmental organizations. She serves on the Executive Board of the World Futures Studies Federation as the President's Envoy to the United Nations. In 2017, Dana received the WFSF President's Outstanding Woman Futurist Award for achievements in Futures research. In 2014, she receivied the Distinguished Early Career Award for Scientific Achievment in Media Psychology for research in the areas of impact media, digital altruism, and the Cyberhero archetype.
