Co-Chair of Disney Entertainment

Dana Walden oversees Disney’s portfolio of entertainment media, news and content businesses globally, including Disney’s streaming business. As such, she leads ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Disney Television Studios, FX, Hulu Originals and National Geographic Content, among others.

Walden has overseen the production of such television shows as "24", "Glee", "Grey’s Anatomy", "black-ish", "The Simpsons", "American Idol", "Dancing with the Stars", "The Bear" and "The Old Man". Prior to joining Disney, she was chief executive of Fox Television Group. Among her honors was the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 from Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business.

Walden has been named to President Joe Biden’s Export Council, a group of business executives, union leaders, and legal experts that advises the president on international trade relations.

The President’s Export Council serves as the principal national advisory committee on international trade. The Council is tasked with providing recommendations and insight into the ways government policies impact U.S. trade performance. Up to twenty-eight private-sector leaders are appointed by the President to be members of the Council.
