Dani Menkin is a writer, director and producer who was born in Tel Aviv in 1970. He has created the winner of the Israeli Academy Award and short listed for the Oscar HBO/Cinemax documentary, 39 Pounds of Love (USA, 2006). Dani collaborated with Ilan Heitner as supervising director and co-producer of The Wisdom of The Pretzel (2002). His success in Israeli telelvision directing the documentary Like Arosesti, (1998), episodes for The National Geographic Channel and UVDA (1994-2004) won him awards and increased his popularity. Today Dani is in production for the documentary film The Dolphin and the feature film Je Tiame, I Love You Terminal.
