Danny Ayalon is a modern diplomat who has served at the nexus of Israeli foreign policy. He served as foreign policy advisor to three consecutive Israeli Prime Ministers - Benyamin Netanyahu (Likud), Ehud Barak (Labor), and Ariel Sharon (Kadima), participating in peace talks and shaping foreign policy throughout the 1990s, and as Israel's Ambassador to the United States, from July 2002 through November 2006. He has also served as a Member of the Executive Board, University Center, Ariel; Vice Chair of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member of the America-Israel Friendship League.

He received the Brandeis Award of the Jewish Community of Baltimore in 2005 and the Builder of Jerusalem Award of Aish Hatorah in 2008.

Daniel Ayalon was elected to the 18th Knesset in February 2009 on the Yisrael Beitenu list and in April 2009 was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, serving until February 2013.

Today, Amb. Ayalon travels the world sharing his insights from inside the negotiating room, his secret work with Arab countries, and liaising between US Presidents and Israeli Prime Ministers. He inspires audiences of all ages and backgrounds with his pro-Israel advocacy and analysis of current affairs and brands Israel as an enlightened, democratic, and diverse nation, with a vibrant economy.

Ayalon also founded the non-profit company, The Truth About Israel, to educate and train the public about the facts of Israel in today’s world. Based on his 25 years of experience at the forefront of Israel public diplomacy and foreign affairs, The Truth About Israel utilizes popular social media platforms and informational videos to advocate for Israel and provide the tools and knowledge to high school and university students, Israeli diplomats and professionals on missions abroad.
