Executive chef and owner of Manhattan's award-winning "DANIEL", "Cafe Boulud", and "DB Bistro Moderne"; named "Chef of the Year" by Bon Appetit Magazine

Daniel Boulud is Owner and Chef of several award-winning restaurants as well as the iconic Feast & Fetes catering company. While he hails from Lyon, France, it is in New York that he has truly mastered the culinary scene, so much so that Boulud is today considered one of America's leading culinary authorities.

Over the last two decades, Boulud has evolved from chef to chef-restaurateur, bringing artistry and creative vision to his 16 restaurants around the world which include: DANIEL, Café Boulud, DB Bistro Moderne, Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, Cafe Boulud, DBGB Kitchen & Bar, Bar Pleiades, Maison Boulud and d|bar.

Boulud’s list of culinary accolades includes four awards from the James Beard Foundation including: 'Outstanding Restaurateur', 'Best Chef of New York City', 'Outstanding Chef of the Year' and 'Outstanding Restaurant'. His restaurant DANIEL has been named one of the ten best restaurants in the world by the International Herald Tribune. It has also received Gourmet Magazine's 'Top Table' award, a coveted four-star rating from The New York Times, as well as Wine Spectator's Grand Award.

The author of multiple best-selling books, Boulud is also the host of After Hours with Daniel, a popular television series which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the personal delights of today's hottest chefs.

Boulud works to support several charities, focusing his efforts on hunger relief and culinary education. He has been an active member of the board of directors of Citymeals-on-Wheels, a non-profit organization that provides home-delivered, nutritious meals to the homebound elderly in New York City, since 2003 and hosts an annual gala for the charity each spring.
