Daniel Kaner, a 20-year veteran of the hair care industry, is a founding partner and co-president of Oribe Hair Care. Mr. Kaner joined forces with hairstylist Oribe Canales in 2009 along with Sonia Kashuk and his former partners from Bumble and bumble, Tevya Finger and Moss Kadey to create Oribe Hair Care.

Mr. Kaner, a fixture in the beauty world, and Oribe, known for his trend-setting hairstyles, sought to deliver products with the highest levels of performance and sophistication. Together, they envisioned a luxury brand that combined Oribe's 30 years of styling heritage with old-world craftsmanship and cutting-edge innovation.

Today the brand can be found in more than 500 top salons nationwide and some of the finest specialty stores, including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, Space NK and Blue Mercury. The brand is also available across Europe and is expanding into Asia and Australia.

Mr. Kaner began his career as a member of the executive team at Aveda where he was responsible for developing New York distribution, opening the Manhattan Aveda Institute and new-store development. He was one of the original partners and the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Bumble and Bumble, where he co-created and hosted the Immersion business program.
