Daniel Marovitz is a senior executive leader who has successfully grown technology businesses at every stage: from start-up, to mid-cap, to the Fortune 100. He is a high energy, creative driver who thrives in difficult environments. Marovitz currently serves as the senior vice president of fintech at Booking.com.

Previously, Marovitz served as President of Europe and member of the executive team at Earthport, PLC. Earthport is the largest network for open bank payments dedicated to transforming the process, technology, and transparency of cross border payments and foreign exchange.

Prior to his tenure at Earthport, Marovitz was the CEO of Faculty of 1000. Faculty of 1000 builds software tools for the biomedical world. Marovitz also co-founded buzzumi, (acquired by F1000.com) a software platform that allows secure, online enterprise collaboration.

Marovitz served as Head of Product Management for Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Bank from 2007-2011 and as a member of the board of this $5 billion division. Marovitz joined Deutsche Bank in 2000 as the youngest Managing Director in the firm's history.

A frequent speaker on technology subjects, Marovitz has addressed audiences around the world. In 2001, he co-authored, Three Clicks Away: Advice from the Trenches of eCommerce, published by John Wiley. He is a patented inventor and a fluent speaker of English, Spanish, Japanese and Galician. Marovitz graduated cum laude from Cornell University in 1994.
