Building Foundations for a Strong Economic Future
"All progress is made by unreasonable decisions" and if we want a prosperous future that attracts a diverse and strong workforce, we must challenge ourselves to new approaches, bringing out the entrepreneurial spirit in all of us. America's traditional work ethic doesn't go unnoticed throughout the world, but we must continue our legacies and traditions by welcoming all people in our great country through leadership, that elevates a shared vision. We have an abundance of natural resources, a variety of industries, and an eager community ready to work, yet we have to strive with purpose, fearlessness, and curiosity for exponential growth. It starts with instilling the dignity of work in our youth!
Fear of Failure/Overcoming Rejection
Once titled the Most Rejected Person in the World by USA Today, Daniel realized if it weren't for rejection, it would have never given him direction. He's a strong believer that wherever in life you are, is where you're supposed to be, but that doesn't mean sit back and let life happen. He'll share that your heart will lead you, but your fears of rejection and failure will prevent you. Daniel has lived by the motto, "if the why is strong enough, the how becomes easy." Rejection happens to be a part of the process of creating incredible discoveries and the ability to ultimately find and fulfill your dreams. Waiting for perfect conditions can often mean you'll never achieve success, rather most progress is made by unreasonable decisions.
In every agitating or painful experience, we can find a pearl of wisdom if we look for it. Like an oyster turning an irritating grain of sand into a gem, we can find something from every rejection to help us improve our skills, expand our perspective, and increase our chances for later success.
Rewarding yourself for effort, not outcome, helps you maintain motivation and momentum. Pain is always a part of growth. It’s uncomfortable, yet so rewarding in the end. Allow yourself to seek, learn, adapt, and grow from each disappointment and rejection. Every successful person has been there too.
