As Swell’s founder and CEO, Dave Fanger sets Swell’s strategic vision and leads the impact, portfolio management, development and design teams. Helping to educate and make people more informed, intentional investors is paramount for Fanger. He is passionate about all six of Swell’s portfolio themes, but is especially interested in disease eradication and healthy living due to his type 1 diabetes and family history with cancer.

Fanger brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, including CEO of a sustainable fintech company and consulting Fortune 500 companies on investment and retirement solutions, M&A and risk management. Fanger leads with values of empathy, transparency and innovation and passions for investing, financial literacy and social and environmental progress. Fanger is a CFA® charterholder, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
