Dave

Rapper, Singer-Songwriter, Producer & Actor

Dave, is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Dave has gained acclaim for his socially conscious lyricism and wordplay and is among the most recognized British rappers. A star in multiple fields, Streatham-born David Orobosa Omoregie, known professionally as Dave the musician, has cultivated a strong following and since launched into stardom. After a viral Glastonbury appearance, the rapper secured a spot on the Channel 4 turned Netflix show "Top Boy" as a villain: Modie, delivering a truly unnerving, borderline psychotic performance. On top of his acting debut, Dave also made his modeling debut at the 2023 Paris Fashion Week for Pharrell Williams' Louis Vuitton debut.

Dave dropped his debut album "Psychodrama," a narrative/concept piece that won not only a BRIT Award for best album but also the Mercury Prize. His second album, "We're All Alone in This Together," was released in 2021 and became his second UK number-one album. He achieved his first solo UK number-one single with "Starlight" in 2022, and in 2023, he achieved his third number-one single with "Sprinter" featuring Central Cee. His song "Sprinter" also became Spotify UK's most-streamed song in a single day in 2023.

Dave was nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award, and in his 2020 BRIT Awards performance of "Black," Dave stunned. He fired at the British establishment and social injustice and paid tribute to his late friend Jack Merritt. Beyond music and acting, Dave is socially active, raising almost £500,000 through the sale of his clothing brand Psycho to donate to Palestine, Congo, and Sudan. He also released a track titled "Peace Dream," addressing the conflicts in these regions.
