Guided by the philosophy that the principles of good design are the principles of a good life and the foundation upon which all great are built, David Applebaum is an internationally recognized architect, designer, TV host, guest lecturer, creativity coach, comic, and motivational speaker. No matter what hat he wears, David always makes it his practice to go beyond the façade but dive into the depth and meaning to uncover the beauty, inspiration, and truth in every endeavor.

Applebaum takes direct charge of each project, bringing his experience, vision and passion creating personal expressions for clients that include Frank Sinatra, Cuba Gooding Jr, Dennis Tito, Diane Keaton, Bob Hope, Brad Grey, Esprit, Quincy Jones and Virgin Records.

Applebaum graduated Magna Cum Laude in Environmental Design at Texas A&M University and won the Franklin D Israel Prize for best thesis project when he earned his Master’s Degree in Architecture at UCLA. After years of gaining the reputation as one of the most sought after architects equally adept at both historic and modern designs, David Applebaum was awarded Outstanding Alumni at Texas A&M University.

Applebaum has had many television and radio appearances but is best known as the host of American Mansion on the National Geographic Channel. He also has taught a creativity seminar with a focus on inspired living for MBA candidates at the UCLA Anderson School of Business as well as the Futures Program at Texas A&M University. David Applebaum has also guest lectured and has been involved in design classwork and design reviews at California Polytechnic State University, UCLA, USC, Woodbury University and Texas A&M University.
