Writer and COO of Entrelineas Producciones

David Barraza Ibáñez was born on April 23, 1983 in Mexico City. Member of SOGEM (General Society of Mexican Writers), Bachelor of Communication Sciences from the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, with a specialization in film screenwriting taught by Act One in the city of New York and Master in Modern Literature from the Universidad Iberoamericana.

In 2005 Guillermo Arriaga invites him to participate in the production of the film El Búfalo de la Noche and from that moment he establishes a working relationship, which is maintained to date, as a collaborator and associate producer of the Mexican writer and director with whom he filmed The Burning Plain starring Charlize Theron, Kim Basinger, Jennifer Lawrence and Jose Maria Yazpik as well as the short film El Pozo, present in official competition at the Venice show in 2010. Beside the filmmaker has also filmed the movie Words With Gods, present in competition official at the Venice show in 2014 and the Texas segment for the movie Rio, I love you.

David Barraza has written the story Gol Gana that is part of the short stories book, the script for short film Toque de Queda, the series of documentaries The Stories of the Buffalo as well as the scripts of feature films Bulletgirl, the doctor of the dictator, the fireman that nobody called and Animals in the skin.

In the field of television, he created and developed two seasons of the Infidel series for Fox Latin America. He was headwriter of the series Guardia-García, next to be released in November of 2018 in Channel Once. He directs the company Entrelineas Producciones.
