David Bornstein specializes in writing about social innovation. He is the author of How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Ideas and The Price of a Dream: The Story of the Grameen Bank, and co-author of Social Entrepreneurship: What Everyone Needs to Know.

How To Change the World was described in The New York Times as "a bible in the field" of social entrepreneurship and has been translated into twenty languages. The Price of a Dream was one of the first books to trace the history of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Grameen Bank. David also played a leading role in the first conference on social entrepreneurship in China. He has written for The Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, Newsday, the European Business Forum, the Stanford Social Innovation Review and many other publications. His articles and interviews have been published in fifteen countries.
