David Bradley's distinctive soulful sound and undeniable English charm are adding a unique flavor to the world of country music.
An established resident of Nashville, David hails from the town of Sunderland, in Northern England, where he spent the majority of his youth. David's father, an oil engineer, regularly brought home American country music tapes from his frequent trips to Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai -- music by artists such as Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. David's unique sound, however, was cultivated from experiences working on oil rigs all over the world.
Currently in the studio with Rivers Rutherford producing, David's sophomore release will follow on the heels of his debut album, "Movin' On" and the break-out success of the heart-wrenching ballad, "Hard Time Movin' On" (with backing vocals provided by Rodney Crowell). The music video for this song, directed by the award-winning Steven Goldmann, was quickly picked up by CMT, GAC and numerous other video outlets. "Hard Time Movin' On" has given Bradley the distinction of being the first Brit to break onto the Country charts.
A staple in the Nashville music scene, David consistently performs with full band, is routinely asked to host events and can be seen frequenting the renowned songwriter rounds of Music City. His shows at the Bluebird Cafe are known to sell out in minutes and his infectious, high energy live shows have attracted the attention of the AristoMedia Group who invited him to play numerous events such as the "Artist Showcase of Tomorrow's Stars", which kicked off the CMA Music Fest in 2009 and 2010. For several years David has been collaborating with some of the most notable and respected songwriters, producers and executives in the music industry. These collaborations have led to his current partnership with Rivers Rutherford, arguably one of the most successful songwriters/producers in Nashville today.
Whether performing, writing or climbing the charts with his music, David Bradley's career speaks for itself -- he is on the fast track with no indication of slowing down. This Brit is taking the industry by storm with his soulful sound, undeniable charm and rockin' brand of country music.
